Crystal — chain of light
Crystal is a contemplative chain-reaction game. Plant glowing six-fold snowflakes across a dark aurora sky; any two crystals that land close enough automatically connect with a faint luminous thread. Tap a single crystal and a pulse of light travels along every thread it touches, ringing each neighbor in turn — and each of those triggers their own neighbors, until a cascading constellation of light and sound ripples through the whole network you've built.
How to play
Tap empty space to plant a crystal. When two crystals are within range they form a thread automatically. Tap any crystal to spark a chain — pulses of light travel down each thread to its neighbors, ringing them with a pentatonic chime. The further the cascade travels, the softer each ring grows, and the chain naturally fades after a few hops. Place crystals tightly for a roaring chord, sparsely for a winding melody, in branching paths for a Rube-Goldberg light show.
Why it's satisfying
You're building an instrument that plays itself. Each placement is a strategic note in a network you shape; each tap unleashes a small fireworks of light and sound that follows the geometry you composed. There is no score and no fail state — just the loop of building, triggering, watching the cascade ripple, then redesigning.
