Snow — settling snowflakes

Snow is a meditative window onto an endless snowfall. Hundreds of flakes drift down with subtle wind, slow rotation, depth parallax. They pile up at the bottom in a soft drift. Drag your cursor through the pile and the snow displaces in a cloud, then settles again.

How to play

There's nothing to do, that's the point. Watch. Drag through the accumulated drift to disturb it. The flakes never stop — open this in a tab and let it snow.

Why it's satisfying

A live snowfall is one of the rare natural sights that everyone, regardless of culture, finds calming. Snow brings that view to any screen, in any season, with one brushable interaction for the impulse to interfere.
