Time Flies — your life in funny numbers

Time Flies turns your birthday into a table of surprising little statistics, one card per theme (a hundred and one cards in all): live counters, your body, space, dates, countdowns and a few funny ones. How many days have you lived? How many seconds, heartbeats, breaths and blinks? How many nights of sleep, dreams you forgot, trips to the bathroom, yawns and sneezes? How old are you on Mars or Mercury, and how many days are left until you turn 100, or 1,000? A few rare cards are golden.

How to play

Spin the three wheels to your date of birth (and the hour, if you know it), then press Count my life. The cards land on the table and their counters spin like a slot machine before stopping on your numbers, which then keep ticking live. The little arrows at the bottom of each card switch it to the next or the previous card of the same theme, so you always know where to find your live counters. Drag the cards wherever you like, tap one to flip it and see how it was counted. Tidy puts every card back in its place, Birthday changes the date, PNG saves the card on top. The counter at the top shows how many of the cards you have already seen.

Why it's satisfying

Big numbers about yourself are strangely moving and very funny at the same time: forty thousand bathroom trips, a billion heartbeats, a few hundred full moons. The reels click into place one digit at a time, each card twirls into the next one with a little sparkle, and the seconds keep rolling while you read.
