Bonfire — fire and embers in the dark
Bonfire is a minimal fire painter. Every click sparks a flame source that burns where you tap; drag the cursor to paint fiery trails through the night. Embers detach from the brightest spots and float up into the dark sky. Double-click sends a hot flare bursting upward.
How to play
Click anywhere to spark a small flame — it will burn for several seconds before dying. Drag to paint a continuous trail of fire and fan the flames in the direction of your motion. Double-click for a fast flare. Fill the screen with as many flame sources as you like — there is no limit.
Why it's satisfying
Watching a real fire is one of humanity's oldest pastimes. Bonfire is its digital surrogate — a flickering, hand-painted light against the dark, with no logs to tend, no goal beyond the act of lighting and watching.
