Pond — a small koi pond

Pond is a small contemplative aquarium. Half a dozen koi fish swim in lazy curves, drifting with their own goals. Click anywhere on the water to drop a piece of food: a ripple spreads, and the nearest koi turn and glide toward it.

How to play

Click to feed. The food spawns a ripple and pulls the closest fish. They eat it on contact, then resume their wandering. Drag to make a long wave that disturbs everyone.

Why it's satisfying

Watching koi is one of the canonical "screensaver" moods — it slows the breath. The ability to feed them, with the immediate hungry attention that follows, is a tiny rewarding feedback loop without any winning or losing.
