Tingles — tap the mic
Tingles is an ASMR microphone on your screen: a big studio condenser mic on its shock mount, in a dim room with soft pink lights. Pick a trigger and play with it. Tap the metal grille with your fingertips, scratch it with long nails, sweep it with a fluffy makeup brush, squish sticky slime on it and pull it away, or rub a glue stick across it. Every texture sounds different, and every sound follows your finger from the left ear to the right ear.
How to play
Choose a trigger at the bottom: Tap, Scratch, Brush, Slime or Glue. Tap the microphone, or drag across it: the faster you move, the more it crackles, swishes or squeaks, and the closer you are, the louder it gets. Open Cover to dress the mic in grey foam, a fluffy windscreen or a crocheted cover full of beads that click and clack, each in five colors. Colors changes the slime. Clean wipes off the slime and the glue. Headphones make it much better, but they are not needed.
Why it's satisfying
ASMR videos are built on exactly these triggers: mic tapping, mic scratching, brushing a fluffy cover, slime crackles, sticky sounds, beads. Here you are the one making them, at your own pace, with an immediate answer to every gesture and a sound that moves around your head. Nothing to win, nothing to finish.
